This dress is quite remarkable. It is entirely made of a weave of ribbon and what feels like a raffia. This gives it a complete bias cut effect and amazing texture. You can wear a nude slip under it and feel quite scandalous or get creative with color. These days I am sure there are girls that could get away with an amazing lingerie set under it only! The weave changes thickness and density to visually define the waist and give some structure around the hips. You could even pull it up and wear it shorter and more draped if you wish because of the way the hip portion is woven. It is other wise a simple sheath and the great design element on this one is found on the sleeves - each widens to a full 22" diameter as it reached the wrist and is cut on an angle as well. They are gorgeous! Excellent condition.

Unlined and slips on to wear with snaps and hook & eye at the side. Elastic through the top of the lower panel. Note the measurements have some stretch if needed - these are taken with it lying flat and not stretched.
